Southern Masked Weaver

Weaver birds make nests that hang from branches. This is a southern masked weaver.

This guy was just getting started.

I had moved to get the first guy from a different angle and practically bumped my head on this guy's nest. That's an exaggeration, but two nests hung over the viewing area.

After taking shots of #2 and his nest, I went back to #1 and found him still trying to get started. Maybe #1 should ask #2 for advice.
