At Home

Here's another round of the mammals around my house from 2020 and 2021.

These guys were across the road.

This group was NOT across the road, and there was a sixth outside the frame. I encourage them to eat weeds, and the missing gardener must buy plants that are deer-resistant. Note that the dog doesn't appear to care about the deer and the deer, although alert, aren't fleeing the dog.

Mac waits for a peanut. He hasn't caught one yet.

More potential weed-eaters

Lenny the groundhog eats weeds, too, but he is Marmota monax non grata because he also eats plants we want to keep.

A squirrel takes a drink. Not sure if this is Mac.

I interrupted a nap by moving closer after this shot.

A chipmunk sometimes "sings" from the fence just outside our dining room window.
