  1. I love the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak! So pretty! I like its bracelet, too! a most attractive accessory! The pictures seem so CLOSE!!!!! The feathers so fluffy! The red on the Red-winged Blackbird's wing looks orange - so I liked that too, since orange is my favorite color! They look great!

    1. Zoom lenses are great, and the birds are sometimes only a few feet away.

  2. Excellent! Birds are a favorite subject, and I thoroughly enjoyed all of these. Keep it up, Grasshopper! ;)

  3. Beautiful shots Steve. Looking forward to more. How do you get the pics with no fencing showing up or are these birds inside somewhere that they can roam "kind of" freely?

    1. The North America aviary is a walk-through, so there's no fence or net in the way. The Asia aviary is the same. The Africa and Australia & Islands aviaries have viewing decks inside. In any case, I love being right in there with the birds.
