Here's another black crowned crane, but a juvenile. Its wings have adult coloring, and the golden crown is looking good, but the neck and body still have some brown, and the red cheek is still developing.

Watching 60 Minutes (Oct 14) and the last segment (photographer Joel Sartore) reminded me of you, and that I hadn't been back to this site lately... Completely blown away by that blue-bellied roller! Never seen or even heard of one before now. Absolutely stunning!
